Introducing Roster Position Management—a powerful new tool that allows captains who purchase an entire team to assign and organize player positions directly within their team roster.

Why This Feature Matters

In leagues where captains manage the entire team, the logistics of who plays where can be a constant challenge. This is especially true for sports that rely heavily on specific positions, like volleyball, flag football, basketball, or soccer.

This new capability eliminates the guesswork and helps you stay perfectly organized.

  • Clarity at a Glance: Instantly see which position each teammate is assigned, providing a clear overview of your team structure.
  • Identify Roster Gaps: Quickly determine which positions (e.g., Setter, Outside Hitter) are still open or under-resourced on your team.
  • Smoother Game Day: Spend less time figuring out who plays what and more time focusing on strategy and winning!

💻 How to Start Assigning Positions

We've made this feature available on both your ** mobile device and your desktop computer** so you can manage your roster from anywhere—whether you're at home or on the sideline!

For Captains Managing Their Own Roster:

  1. Navigate to Your Team Roster: Log in to TeamArrange and go to the session and team you purchased.
  2. Find the player: Find the player's name who you want to reassign.
  3. Assign Position: Long press and drag to the appropriate position.

💡 Note: This feature is available for captains who handle the full team purchase and roster management. If your league or organization handles position assignments, this option will not be visible on your roster.
